SHRED-DOCS IS NOW OPEN TO THE PUBLIC!

SHRED-DOCS has opened its office doors to the San Diego community.  Triggered by an overwhelming amount of requests, SHRED-DOCS now accepts documents from the public for secure "Drop-Off" shredding service.  All documents/paper are collected at our Miramar location and put into secure locking SHRED-DOCS containers.  The full containers are then added to that day's collected paper and shredded.

All pricing is calculated by using a "bankers box" (10"x12"x15") as a unit of measurement.  If you do not have your material in a bankers box OR need your boxes back we will estimate the total volume at time of service.

  • From I-15:  Take Exit 14 for Miramar Rd., Travel West on Miramar Rd for approximately 1.5 miles.  Turn right (North) one Camino Ruiz.  Turn right on Activity Rd and turn left into the Miramar Commerce Center business park. Continue along the driveway and our office is located in the back. 

  • From I-805:  Take Exit 25B for Miramar Rd., Travel East on Miramar Rd for approximately 4 miles.  Turn left (North) on Camino Ruiz.  Turn right on Activity Rd and turn left into the Miramar Commerce Center business park. Continue along the driveway and our office is located in the back.

Terms of Service:

  1. Shredding Standards: Paper/documents will be shredded or destroyed at our off-site facility to such that the PHI (Protected Health Information) or other information cannot be read or otherwise cannot be reconstructed, and have been processed to the NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) Special Publication 800-88 standards of information destruction.

  2. No Returns: Once material has entered into the possession of SHRED-DOCS, it cannot be removed under ANY circumstances (even if not yet destroyed). You, the Generator, confirms title to the material and transfer of ownership to SHRED-DOCS for destruction as described herein.

  3. Paper & Paper Products Only: No metal, plastic, liquid or X-Ray Films

    1. Non-Witness Shredding: Standard paperclips and staples are ok

    2. Witness Shredding: Staples are ok, no "bound" material, books, metal or plastic. (Strictly Enforced)

  4. Drop-Off Location: 8940 Activity Rd. Suite H, San Diego, CA 92126

    1. Non-Witness Shredding: All non-witness shredding may be dropped off at our main office and will be securely transported to our Off-Site location for high volume "Plant Based Shredding"

    2. Witness Shredding: All witness shredding is conducted at our main office
